Maja Lehrer
Maja Lehrer, born on the 17. June 1990 in Singen am Hohentwiel, was already acting in youth and city theater productions when she was at school. In 2008 she received the cultural award Hegau in the acting catagory. In the same year she acted in various short films within the reality crime series "Aktenzeichen XY... ungelöst!" which reconstructs real criminal cases. Lehrer also embodied a young punk, who had a troubled childhood in the youth series "dasbloghaus.tv" which ran from 2010 to 2011 on the Childrens network KiKA.
From 2011 to 2016 Lehrer completed an acting course at the Film University of Babelsberg. During this time she had many guest roles in various television series; In 2014, in the Daily Soap "Unter uns" ("Among us") she had a recurring role as a troublesome teenager. Furthermore, she still took part in the short films for "Aktenzeichen XY... ungelöst!" till 2016. She also played minor roles in the television series‘ "Sag mir nichts" ("Do not Tell me", 2016, Director: Andreas Kleinert) and "Zwei verlorene Schafe" ("Two Lost Sheep", 2016, Director: Sylke Enders). Continuing in 2016, she played the lead role in "Bash - Stücke der letzten Tage" on the stage in the Coburg State Theatre. In 2017 she was recognized as a "permanent guest" at the Staatstheater Cottbus where she also took part in plays including "Hexenjagd" (2017/18) and "Momo" (2017-2019).
Her first cinematic leading role was in the feminist zombie film "Endzeit" ("Ever After") which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in the fall of 2018. It’s german theatrical release followed in August 2019.
