Markees Christmas was born in Los Angeles on August 11 1999. Making his first acting experiences in a student theatre group, he was eventually discovered by a local TV station which cast him in several short films in 2013. He got his first leading role in a feature film with the award-winning coming-of-age tale "Morris aus Amerika" ("Morris from America", DE/US 2016), in which he plays a 13-year-old American teenage boy who dreams of becoming a hip hop artist, yet has to cope with moving to rural Heidelberg. The same year, Markees Christmas was part of the ensemble of the made-for TV teen drama "Parker and the Crew" (US 2016, TV).
