This Night

A dictatorship, somewhere in Latin America. At night at the train station in Santa Maria, Ossorio, a man in his forties and leader of a resistance group, arrives and is swept away in a mass of refugees and exhausted soldiers. He reaches a city under siege, and tries to find his former comrades and his lover. Soon he has to realize that things have changed: A brutal militia is terrorizing the population and even the most idealistic people are just trying to save their own lives.
