Ambitious and pedantic Leni Reimann is shocked when she learns that her partner is cheating on her. She immediately packs her things and moves into the shared flat of her sister Hannah. Hannah's easy-going flatmate Vivienne explains to Leni that there is only one working remedy for heartbreak: sex. Ideally with as much men as possible and without any remorse or commitment. Yet not only Leni has to deal with love pangs, since her mother Margaux was left by her husband of 30 years for a younger woman. Together, the women try to find the courage to leave their beaten paths and to start over their (love) lives.
