Outside the Box

Frederick Schopner is tired of being stepped over by his colleagues, who constantly take credit for his ideas. The upcoming outdoor company retreat appears to be the perfect occasion for Frederick to get even with his egomaniacal co-workers and to teach them a lesson in "high performance". Yet this turns out to be a highly unusual teambuilding event, for PR manager Vanessa Kramer wants a press coup and stages a hostage drama – with hired actors as gangsters. Alas, her underpaid helps want more, and as they bring real guns, they demand real ransom money. While Vanessa tries to keep the media and her boss from discovering this mess, the wannabe criminals have to convince their overly motivated hostages that they are not any longer part of a sophisticated roleplaying game.
