Landung auf Ösel 1917

Troop transports in the port of Libau; loading of the vehicles, guns and horses; landing troops boarding at the naval port office; departure of the transports accompanied by warships; airship flies over the convoy; sailing on the Baltic Sea; shelling of the Russian coastal batteries on Ösel with on-board artillery; disembarkation of the landing troops; landing craft being towed to the island; unloading of the horses, which are brought to the shore in ferries; field camp on the shore of the island. The educational film was compiled from original footage from 1917.
