Die Rote Zora
Red Zora
Film version of Kurt Kläber′s children′s book classic. The story is set in 1930 at the Croatian coast. After his mother′s death, 12-year old Branko starts to search for his father. In a little town, he meets "Red Zora", a brass and cunning girl who constantly fools the local police men with her gang of orphans. Branko then joins the gang. But the town′s mayor and the mean fishmonger Karaman try everything to chase the disrespectful orphans out of the town. Only fishmonger Gorian supports Zora and her gang. But when powerful Karaman presses poor fishmonger Gorian to sell his business, the children have to come up with a plan to save their friend from financial ruin.
