For years now, Hannes and his wife Kiki have been going on an annual bike trip with their best friends. This time it's up to Hannes to chose the destination. When he wants to go to Belgium, the others aren't excited at first. Nevertheless, the trip starts well and everyone has a good time. That's until Hannes discloses the real reason for his decision: He suffers from an incurable neurological disease and wants to end his life on his own terms – which is possible in Belgium, where medically assisted suicide is legal. The trip with his wife and friends is meant to be his farewell tour. Once they stomached the initial shock, the group is determined to fulfil Hannes' wish and wants to make the trip to the clinic a memorable experience for all.
