Fieber
Fever
Austria, the early 1950s. 11-year-old Franzi and her parents live in the small town of Judenburg. At home, the atmosphere is oppressive due to the strict father, who suffers from fever and neurological defects that often result in an uncontrollable temper. Yet the girl does not know the reasons for his illness. Her father, a former soldier in the foreign legion, refuses to speak about his time in Algeria, Morocco and Syria. Only the both fascinating and disturbing photos from that time offer Franzi an insight into this part of his life and stimulate her childish imagination. Years later, Franzi herself has become a successful photographer. One day, she decides to investigate her father's past.
