Biography
Jonas Baeck was born on December 29, 1981. He studied acting in Bochum, where he also started his stage career. Since 2002, he has been appearing in films, and in 2006, he won the Newcomer Award at the Lüchow Open Shorts for his performance in Zrinka Budimlijas "Benny und Rob". In 2007, Baeck appeared in the Cologne stage production of Andres Veiel"s award winning "Der Kick". His television work includes the acclaimed 2008 production "Code 21". In 2009, he starred as the titular hero in a production of "Hamlet" at the theatre festival in Bad Vilbel. His feature film debut came with "Kleinstatthelden": In the tragicomedy, he plays the leading role of Janosh, a young musician who has to face his failures.
