Biography

Rick Ostermann was born in Paderborn in 1978. Following his high school graduation and mandatory military service, he worked in various capacities on several film and television productions, including being the assistant director to Lars Kraume on "Die kommenden Tage" ("The Days to Come", 2010) and "Meine Schwestern" ("My Sisters", 2013). His award-winning short "Still" premiered at the 2009 Max Ophüls Preis and went on to screen at numerous festivals. His feature film debut "Wolfskinder", shot in Lithuania in 2012, premiered at the 70th Venice International Film Festival.
