Biography
Born in Cologne in 1965, he studied comparative literary studies, took courses in acting and directed his first theatre play in 1987. An assistant director to Hans Neuenfels at Hamburg"s Schauspielhaus and at the Burgtheater in Vienna, he also worked on Derek Jarman"s films "Edward II" and "Wittgenstein". A script supervisor and an assistant director on various German television films and films for theatrical release, he also works for the Panorama section of the International Film Festival in Berlin. "Schläft ein Lied in allen Dingen" is his third feature film.
