Biography
Miriam Kubescha was born in 1971 in Giessen. She studied Art History in Perugia and Film in Paris, followed by studies in Directing at the Academy of Televisio & Film (HFF/M) in Munich. In 1997, she founded Confine Film, the company that has subsequently produced her films: "Inside the Boxes" (1997), which screened in Cannes" Cinefondation in 1998, "Sisters" (1999), winner of the German Short Film Award in 2000, and "Ecce Homo" (2001), which was screened at Cannes" Directors" Fortnight in the same year.
