Biography
Stefan Paul was born in Leipzig in 1946 and studied German and English in Tuebingen. He has been a cinema-owner in Stuttgart since 1974 and took over screens in Leipzig in 1990. He is also the owner of distributor Arsenal Filmverleih and has been making films since 1978, beginning with the short "Vom Fahren im Eis". His other films are: "Reggae Sunsplash" (1979), "Bongo Man" (1981), "Hoelderlin, Tuebingen, Turm" (TV, 1986), "Mercedes Sosa - Sera Posible El Sur" (1987), "Gefuehle Raus" (1988), "Hotel Deutschland" (1990/91), "Bob Marley - Live In Concert" (1998).
