Summary

Second and final part of the film adaptation of Thea von Harbou's novel: After their daring escape from the jealous Maharajah Chandra and the scheming Prince Ramigani, the Maharani Sitah and her German lover Sascha make it back to India.

In the palace of Eshnapur, the final confrontation between the main protagonists takes place: Ramigani's attempted coup is thwarted by Sascha and Sitah - who sacrifices her life for Chandra. Sascha finally kills Ramigani and reconciles with the Maharaja.
