Biography
Rasmus Gerlach was born in 1963 and studied Visual Communication at the Hochschule fuer bildende Kuenste in Hamburg. He works as a freelance documentary filmmaker, video artist and cameraman. A selection of his films includes: "Die Russen raeumen auf" (1995), "St. Pauli Fans sind wir" (1996), "Operator Kaufman" (2000), "Unity, Putzi & Blondi - Hitlers Freunde und der amerikanische Geheimdienst" (2003), "Friesische Filmkritik" (2003), "Schichtwechsel" (2004), and "Von Ausnahmen bis Zustaenden" (2004, in co-direction with Peter Ott), "Die Drogenenkel vom Hauptbahnhof" (2004), "Che"s Brigade" (2005), "Brigade des Friedens" (2006), and "Kampf um dicke Poette" (2006).
