Laeni Geiseler was born in Berlin in 2011. She began performing at a young age, appearing in productions at the Stadttheater Steyr, including the title role in "Lillifee" (2018). In 2019, she won first place at the Austrian Open in Musical & Showdance.
After early appearances in short films, Geiseler began landing supporting roles in television productions, including episodes of "Inga Lindström" (2020) and "Nord bei Nordost" (2023). She had a leading role in the six-part mystery series "Schnee" (DE/AT 2023) as a girl with asthma who, after moving with her family to the Tyrolean Alps, suddenly claims she can communicate with the dead. In the second season of the Netflix series "Die Kaiserin" ("The Empress," 2024), she portrayed Marie "Mimi" Sophie Amalie, the youngest sister of future Empress Sisi, who was forcibly married off to Sicily.
At the 2025 Berlinale competition, Geiseler starred in the title role of "Was Marielle weiß" ("What Marielle Knows"), playing a teenager who suddenly develops telepathic abilities.
