Biography
Ilona Ziok was born in Gliwice/Poland and emigrated to England in 1968. She studied film, drama and politics in New York, Moscow and Frankfurt from 1975-1982. She obtained her doctorate in 1989. An editor and director for Hessen radio, she founded her own production company in 1990. She lives in Berlin and works as a writer, director, producer and event manager for venues such as the Ufa Factory Cinema.
