Nicole Mercedes Müller was born in Berlin on November 4 1996. At the age of four, she made her screen debut in the children's film "Vier Freunde und vier Pfoten - Ein tierisches Abenteuer" (2001-2003), performing alongside her real-life brother Kai Michael Müller.
She went on to play child characters in "Das Herz ist rot" (2003), "Der Mustervater - Allein unter Kindern" (2004), "Das Bernstein-Amulett" (2004), and Aelrun Goette's acclaimed "Unter dem Eis" (2005). Among her notable TV credits are the "Tatort" ("Scene of the Crime") episode "Todesbrücke" (2005) and Buket Alakus' "Freundinnen fürs Leben" (2006), and from 2006 to 2007, she had a recurring role in the TV series "Wege zum Glück".
In 2009, Nicole Mercedes Müller starred as the leader of a teenage girl gang in the theatrical release "Die wilden Hühner und das Leben" ("Wild Chicks and Life"), and the following year, she had a cameo in "Groupies bleiben nicht zum Frühstück" ("Single by Contract").
After being one of the leads in the dystopian drama "Die Vermissten" ("Reported Missing", 2012), Müller starred opposite Til Schweiger in the "Tatort" episode "Willkommen in Hamburg" (2013), appeared in the drama "Ein offener Käfig" (2014) and the fantasy film "Sechse kommen durch die ganze Welt" (2014).
Following her memorable turn as a rape victim in the made-for-TV movie "Der Pfarrer und das Mädchen" (2015), director Fatih Akin cast her as the female lead in his screen adaptation of the bestselling novel "Tschick".
