Kai Rabe vs. The Vatican Killers
Film is murder, it′s rumored, behind the scenes. Rufus Lindner has no time for that kind of talk. He is currently shooting his first big film "The Vatican Killers". Lindner has both of the biggest German stars onboard.
Maria Rall and, above all, Kai Rabe who may be difficult and boozy, but is also a certain draw for the audience. The young and extremely attractive young actress Carla Kolski is prepared to do anything for her career, and Lindner gladly takes advantage. The next day, Carla is found dead in a wood, murdered and awfully messed up. Inspector Krueger begins the investigations on the set. But he is not able to stop real bullets suddenly going off when the camera is rolling, and now a second dead body is causing a stir. Rabe is at the end of his tether and hires two Israeli bodyguards. Producer Egon Luetter senses mega-publicity in the offing, Rabe′s agent haggles over contracts, Maria Rall takes a shine to the inspector.
