Summary
Cabinets of Wonder
Documentary children's film, created with and by children aged 8 to 12. The starting point is the question of how much room there is in our rational world, fixated on success and achievement, for those children who do not want to submit to this everyday stress. The children's reporter Dorothea meets Roya (11), who fled Iran, Elias (14), who has autism, Wisdom (9), whose grandfather fought a lion with his bare hands in Cameroon, and Joline (12), who never wants to grow up. They all escape the demands of the modern world in different ways and have created their own personal "cabinets of wonders" of imagination.
