Barbara Krzoska, born on December 3, 1989 in Karlsruhe, first studied English and German language and literature in Heidelberg (2009-2013). During a semester abroad in Oregon, USA, she attended acting classes and discovered her passion for acting. Back in Germany and after completing her language and literature studies, she began studying acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich in 2013. There, she appeared in numerous in-house productions and was a scholarship recipient of the German National Academic Foundation in 2015. In 2017, Krzoska completed her studies and received an engagement at the Saarländisches Staatstheater in Saarbrücken, where she first appeared in the Lessing adaptation "Nathan oder das Märchen von der Gleichheit." In the 2019/20 season, she attracted greater attention in Arthur Miller's drama "Witch Hunt" in the leading role of Abigail Williams.
Barbara Krzoska made her debut in front of the camera in 2017 with a supporting role in Volker Schlöndorff's highly acclaimed TV drama "Der namenlose Tag". She played her first role on the big screen in Nancy Camaldo's relationship and sibling drama "Windstill" (2020), which screened at the Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival (online edition) in January 2021 and was released in November 2021.
