Eidin Seyed Jalali, born in 1992, began studying at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin in 2016. During this time he took part in productions at the bat-Studiotheater, the Berliner Ringtheater and the Kasemattentheater Luxemburg, among others.
After several short film appearances, he played his first leading role on the big screen in the coming-of-age and coming-out story "Futur Drei" ("No Hard Feelings", 2019), as an Iranian refugee who comes to Germany with his sister and with whom the son of exiled Iranians falls in love. For this role Jalali received the Götz-George Young Talent Award at the First Steps Awards 2019 together with Benjamin Radjaipour and Banafshe Hourmazdi. "Futur Drei" was released in German cinemas in autumn 2020. In the same year Jalali graduated from the Ernst Busch acting school and became an ensemble member of Schauspiel Leipzig.
He played smaller TV roles in the series "Alarm für Cobra 11" (2019) and "Notruf Hafenkante" (2020). Stefan Krohmer cast him in a leading role in the "Tatort" episode "Die Rache an der Welt", which was filmed in late summer 2020.
