Biography

Lize Feryn, born on 4th of March 1993 in Belgium, studied at the Lemmes Institute, a conservatorium in Leuven, Belgium. Following this, she attended the music academy 'Peter Benoit' in Harelbeke, Belgium. While studying, she also worked as a model in New York and Milan for numerous well-known fashion designers and brands.

Since 2013, Feryn has been appearing in Belgian TV productions, among others playing a lead role in the miniseries "In Vlaamse Velden" (BE 2014), which is set in the First World War. She went on to publish two novels based on her character in this series, a 15-year old girl.

Lize Feryn’s first lead role in a feature film was in "A Real Vermeer" (NL/BE/LU 2016) as the fictitious muse of the famous Dutch art forger Han von Meegeren. In 2017, Oskar Roehler cast her to play one of the main characters in his satire film "HERRliche Zeiten" ("Subs", 2018) as a highly intelligent young woman, who lets herself get hired as a "household slave" by a rich couple.
