Biography
The filmmaker studied social communications at the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia and then film and television writing at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain. After making several short documentaries, he co-directed his debut feature film "Siembra" with Ángela Osorio in 2015. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and won Best Film at Cinélatino Toulouse. He developed "I Saw Three Black Lights" while participating in the Cannes Festival Cinéfondation Residence in 2018.
