Escaping Damascus

Summary

The film tries to provide a new platform of discussion on the Syrian civil war and to break an emotional barrier. Three of the actors themselves fled from Damascus and all have a similar fate to that of the characters portrayed. For this reason, they not only had to come to terms with their own past, but also incorporated their own horrible experiences into the film.
