Summary

Commercial for Schott & Gen, Jena refractory glass. Glass jars march in a row to the kitchen cupboard. It is full of colored tin and porcelain dishes. "Allow me, we are the new tableware!" The "boss" of the old crockery answers "You are glass, you want to go into the fire?" (laughter from the cupboard). Trial by fire on the stove. Glass dishes go into the fire effortlessly... applause from the old dishes gathered around the stove. Cauliflower bounces into glass pot and is cooked (applause). Potatoes jump into glass pot and are cooked (applause). Old pots open the oven. Cake in a glass dish goes in and out. Chicken in glass dish goes into oven and comes out crispy fried and sets itself on table. Plates, cutlery, glass cups, preserving jar with fruit, "Schott-Jenaer Durax glass".
