Biography

Franz Peter Wirth was born in Munich in 1919 and died in Berg in 1999. After studying Theater in Munich, he worked as a dramaturge and director for the Städtebund-Theater in Hof from 1948-1950. He also worked for television and radio stations in Frankfurt, Baden-Baden, Stuttgart and Munich. His films include: "Arms and the Man" ("Helden", 1958), "Die Frau am Dunklen Fenster" (1960), "Ein schönes Paar" (1975), "Die Buddenbrooks" (1978), "Tiefe Wasser" (1983), "Familienschande" (1988), "Adieu, mon ami" (1996) and "Typisch Ed!"(1999), among others.
